SP Faithful!

Thanks for the apology, its well accepted! I respect your humbleness and I have just read below the "steroid" comment and I understand the animosity with Cantwell bloggers.
I went to Verbum Dei HS and St Paul was in the Big 5 Conference back then and the Long Beach Poly's, Servite and Loyola's did not want to see them on the schedule....LOL! good luck the rest of the season. League should be a breeze and then ready to defend that ring!

DAD,

Your right, I take that comment about Jeffrey Taylor back. It was out of line and should have never been said. He is a fine player with alot of upside. I wish him the best. But, it does get a little frustrating to see people make false statements regarding SP. I was only feeding off the steroid comment by some idiot who is nothing more then a sore loser. So if I hurt anyone's feelings, I'm sorry!
Trinity Guy, once again we all know who you are. Nothing but another bitter alumni that can't remember where he came from. Why change your moniker? Is it because your team(Servite) is in jeoperdy of not making the playoffs? Just come clean and be proud that you went to SP. Life is not surrounded by football. It's what happens after high school, not during. Anyways, good luck to all teams this week!!!

TO SP FAITHFUL:

PLEASE LEAVE YOUR COMMENTS ABOUT JEFFREY TAYLOR OUT OF THIS BLOG! YOUR ISSUE IS WITH THE BLOGGER, JEFFREY TAYLOR HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. YOUR JUST AS BAD AS THE BLOGGER YOUR TALKING TO.
STAY FAITHFUL TO SP, JEFFREY TAYLOR DOESN'T DOESN'T ATTEND ST PAUL AND IS NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE 2 LOSSES, BELIEVE ME!
ROGER MURRAY- IF THE COMMENTS ABOUT THE KIDS AREN'T POSITIVE, WHY POST THE COMMENT? PARENTS OF THOSE MENTIONED WILL BE VERY UPSET, AS I AM. THESE ANONYMOUS BLOGGERS NEED TO KEEP THE PLAYERS OUT AND JUST KEEP COMMENTING ON THE OVERALL TEAMS!

SP Faithful, mix in a dictionary.
SP is an average local football program. Prime Ticket doesn't care, college coaches don't care and CIF rankings don't care where or who you are. You are left with players too small and too slow to hang with the big boys. Yet, too good for the local scrub teams. SP is in a weird position.
They are 10 years behind in terms of training facilities, player development and school growth. They will probably become an all girl school in 5 years.

must go,

Do yourself a big favor and don't make stupid comments regarding SP and Cantwell. In case you didn't notice, you guys are at the very bottom of the food chain. Your just lucky that more Cantwell children didn't get hurt. You should thank your lucky stars that our head coach is a Cantwell alumni. Come to think about it, you guys don't have one player on your whole team that would see playing time at SP. Jeffrey Taylor at best would be a special team player. So before you make reference about SP look in the mirror and know that no way shape or form can you compete with us! I can take the SF, La Serna, Cal bashings but Cantwell, no way!
Steroids, your a idiot! Cantwell guy , you have no class. To make stupid comments like that is not only inmature but damanging. So take your butt whipping two years in a row and like it!

Cantwell again showing its best. If only we didn't play the cheaters from St. Paul. That is okay. The way they whoop on a small school, they took it worse from every which way from bigger schools. Hey we were emberassed once. You were emberassed one too many times. Imagine if they didn't take steroids.

Stick to something you know about.....cheerleading. I'm sure there are girls on the squad that know about football more than you do.

Like always La Serna will make its customary 1st round exit....if they make the playoffs.

Yo, skinnybuffguy: Spoke with coach Negrete a little while ago. Schurr won 48-8. He said the game site was change "about four weeks ago." He said the CIF called the school and due to a lack of officials, asked if Schurr would agree to play Thursday 'sted of Friday.

ER Don said:

Why all the St Paul bashing because they’ve lost to some outstanding teams? Whittier song Dad no disrespect but to bring a highly improbable hypothetical wont answer a thing St Paul has lined up and played, that’s putting it on the line, last year we lined up and yes we lost but the cuts and bruises go away. This year Pioneer did, good for them. All schools want to win every game as they should. Take a street fighter who picks his fights will be undefeated but where’s the honor?

Chiefpigskin, Song dad,

It's funny how you talk about strength of schedule. Do yourself a favor and try to compare the two. I'm being 100% serious. SF is having a really good year, But if they played the teams that SP played the outcome would be different. You can't compare San Clemente to Servite,Notre Dame, Bosco or even Loyola. The only good team you faced beat you . And last time I checked , San Clemented is not considered a powerhouse. Very average at best! Why do you think that SP is still ranked in the polls? The competition is why. As for talent, SF has twice the size and twice the talent and four times the enrollment that SP has. Why won't they step up and play even La Habra or for that matter SP? Coaching! Sp does more with less every year than any team out there. Imagine if SP had the talent of SF? They would win titles on a regular basis. No doubt about it. Coach Mazzota from La Habra told me the same thing. It's real simple, get the most out of your guys. You will see in the playoffs were the schedule matters. Winning in the beginning and losing in the end is not a good year. Year after year SF falls in the second round. Coincidence? No way.

why do you need to put a team of the best players to beat st. paul?

that's an all star team hahaha what an idiot

YOU'RE THE ONE PROVOKING IT ALL.
NO ONE EVEN MENTIONED ST. PAUL IN THIS BLOG BEFORE YOU HAD.

STOP PICKING FIGHTS ALREADY.

wow said:

NO ONE IN THE AREA PLAYS ANY GOOD TEAMS.

YOU ALL KNOW THAT.

YOU GUYS WOULD GET SMOKED AND ROASTED IF YOU PLAYED ANY OF THE TEAMS ON ST. PAUL'S SCHEDULE. SERIOUSLY

Sir Text-a-Lot said:

Geez SP. I know you guys take pride in the fact you play the big boys. At least show up or try to compete. I heard you guys were outscored 158-50. Stick to Cantwell, Salesian, Cathedral and Whittier Christian. Catholic schools you can handle.

Mr. Murray what is the scientific formula you use to get the Daily news football top five?
Do you use some type of mathematical calculation,
or is it some distiguished panel of judges?
I really would like to know.

My little brother goes to schurr and he told me that they played on Thursday... well i found out on Friday so that's why i wanted to see what the score was and what took place... ok murray i was beginning to think that you were hating on schurr but I'll let it slide this time... haha... thanks for the info...

Yo, skinnybuffguy: A reporter sent to cover the game Friday night found an empty, dark field at Schurr. Thinking the game probably had been moved to Mark Keppel, he hustled over there and found the same situation. Thinking perhaps it had been rescheduled at Montebello's new field, he went there and still no game. A return to Schurr resulted in a conversation with a maintenance worker who informed him the game had been played Thursday night. Checking the schedule on Schurr's web site, the game is listed as Friday night, 7 p.m.. Maxpreps and Calpreps and the Daily News all had that same information, and were not informed otherwise. No publication had the final score as of late Saturday evening. We've been unable to reach anyone from the school to confirm a score -- if the game was played. We'll take your word for it that it was played.

Roger Murray Author Profile Page said:

Yo, OFF THE SUBJECT: The Pioneer player's name is Kevin Hernandez, a strong safeaty/backup tailback. He suffered a concussion and was bruised around the tailbone. He reportedly was having muscle spasms in his back after the play and that's why he wasn't moving. He will miss this week's game but is expected to be OK to play in the last two games.

WOW! Win or lose you ER DONS fans are always supporting your team and Marcus Galan is a special player.Sometimes the great players in this league don't play on winning teams and they get over looked. Marcus is a great player but I feel Daniel Enquirez from Whiiter is the best running back in the area. To ER c/o 92 stay off the blog you make THE RANCH look bad, you must have been a bench warmer for Coach Shelko and know you are a ER hater. You talk about PR Dons not being the same, your right. That because the political people of the Dons chased away some coaches that ended up starting there own league, the Wolverines and know the talent in the city is split in half. To Blue Pride, the talk about Whittier H.S.coaches not starting the right QB, that #8 should be the starter, be for real. #8 has not started a football game at QB since his youth football Jr. Midget year. He transferred from St.Paul after his Freshman year, because he didn't play. Then his Sophmore year he had a knee injury, was out the whole season. Last year he was a back up that didn't play and was still not healthy from his knee injury. Now this year when you got two QB about the same, it's a no brainer to go with the underclassmen, its not a knock on #8 but its common sense.Good Luck ER fans on the rest of the season, theres no need to talk about other schools.

randthaman said:

Santa Fe had two good games from 2 good RB's(Turner and #12)...But Galan outplayed both of them. Why isn't ER's coach using him more. Give him more reps...let him return kicks and punts. What do you have to lose?

OFF THE SUBJECT said:

Does anybody have any info on the boy from Pioneer who was hurt in the cal game.Hope he's ok.

skinnybuffguy said:

where's the schurr game? I know they won but what was the score and theirs no write up about them...

HELLO AGAIN

I'M KEPT HEARING THAT ST.PAUL IS THE BEST IN WHITTIER WHATEVER. IF WE WERE TO PUT A TEAM TOGETHER WITH ALL THE BEST PLAYERS FROM LA SERNA,SANTA FE, CAL,WHITTIER AND PIONEER WE WOULD KICK THE CRAP OUT OF ST. PAUL.FOOTBALL TEAM AND YOU ALL KNOW IT. TO BAD WE COULDN'T SCOUT AND GET PLAYERS FROM OTHER SCHOOL LIKE ST. PAUL CAN BUT THAT ANOTHER STORY. I KNOW YOU ST. PAUL PARENTS PAY ALOT OF MONEY FOR YOUR KIDS TO BE THE BEST BUT I'M SORRY TO SAY THERE NOT THE BEST TEAM THERE JUST OK. ONE DAY WE SHOULD GET THE PLAYER FROM LA SERNA,SANTA FE, CAL,WHITTIER AND PIONEER AND PLAY ST. PAUL AND WE WILL SEE HOW GOOD ST' PAUL IS. WELL BY FOR NOW LA SERNA SONG DAD

A blogger by the name Sit Down recently wrote of St Paul football "Within the last five years, St. Paul has played top teams, even considered top in the state, in Long Beach Poly, Notre Dame, St. Bonaventure, Loyola, Crespi, Servite, St. John Bosco. Yeah, we haven't beaten any of them, but we're a D3 school.

Nice to know even after tonight these words still hold true!!!! Going out and being conpetitive is one thing but to go out each time and get smoked is ridiculous!! Hopefully your bench got a lot of PT.

Good game El Rancho...your defense was fierce...

elrancho said:

Great game played today by my beloved Dons. We got down early but we did not give up, we stormed back and were in it right till the end but one bad play ended our hopes to come out on top tonight. There is no one in the league with the heart of Marcus Galan, that kid can do it all, RB, WR, DB, I am surprised hes not returning any kicks. We had a young kid at safety those two opening drives and we let go of 2 huge TD's, but other than that Aaron Turner was shut down all night long. After that performance I am not ready to throw in the towel on this season. We must win out, but I have hopes that we can come out and finally put together a complete game for the first time this season. Anthony Ayala is an absolute beast, the kid will ball big time next season. Bryan Turner finally showed glimpses of his freshmen season. Hopefully we can have Adrian Sanchez next week and get a boost.
