Don't forget about SCHURR.......they always find a way to win....I would not be surprised if they beat SOUTH HILLS and found themselves back in a SEMI-FINAL GAME for the third straight year....keep up the good work Coach Jordan and staff

To Chief Pigskin-- Regarding the CALHI PA Announcer-his job is to announce the name of the player carrying the ball-its called being informative-its not being a homer-if you understood football you would realize that. Of Course your PA announcer is terrible-he loses track of whats going on in the game and doesnt even announce the players that make tackles-he should pay more attention to the game on the field- could it be you are complaining because CALHI BEAT SANTA FE??-its not the announcers fault that you lost the game-hes not a homer hes just announcing the players making plays-learn the game.

Go CSHM Cardinals. The small school where the kids play with big hearts. No area team deserves it more than you do. Nothing is impossible. If you dream it, you can achieve it.

Please tell me your post is come sort of JOKE? They both suck! As for the CAL high guy shall I remind the year all the SF fans had to listen to him yelling out “GRIGSBY” each and every time he touched the ball which was 40+ times. Ya, no way in heck is he not a homer. I do love how the LS announcers “another La Serna FIRST DOWN got softer and softer as the game wore down and it was apparent there would be no come back.

SP FAN said:

I think we can pencil in La Habra to go all the way. Their only challenge might be Fullerton.

La Serna does have the easiest path but with the wins SF had over Cal and LS impressed me. I think this could be their year.

Of the 3 DRL teams in the playoffs LS has probably the easiest route to the semifinal on paper. They face a .500 SG team and if they win they have a possible match-up with Rowland who Cal Hi beat earlier in the season.
SF could have a much tougher second round match up with either West Covina or Bonita. And looking down the road a possible match up with South Hills in the semis will be no picnic, South Hills was ranked #1 in the division for most of the year.
Cal should win their 1st round game but have a very difficult task in possibly facing in my opinion the best team in the division in Charter Oak in the second round.

Like I said my opinion is only what I see on paper and waht I have seen during the course of season alot can change in the course of a football game and upsets and great games are possible and that is why we watch.

Good luck to all DRL teams, and im sure SP will be watching to that they can "reload"

o ya to WC bloggers or Murray did Donte Webb tranfer early enough to eligible for this season???

dr del rio said:

lets give a standing O to the the CAl High announcing tean 1st of all the leader dennis maldonado (the best in the league) and to all of his team.top notch ,informative and not a homer as our infamous la serna person is.

Who has the best chance of all local teams to win CIF in their divisions? I think La Habra and Santa Fe.

Del Rio League Fan for Life said:

Let's hope that ALL of the local teams play well in the playoffs. It strengthens our area's reputation on having good football. Good luck to everyone participating in CIF.

Why did you leave out Flintridge and Rio Hondo?
