Has anybody witnessed anything/anyone interesting among area teams during the early goings on of this young season?

Roger, how come you never print the All-league teams for football, basketball, baseball, etc..in the newspaper? I think there are many deserving players from the local area that should be recognized for their efforts during their respective seasons. Also, I think All-league may mean more to the players, because the voting comes from the coaches in the league.
All-Area teams will be announced :
Wednesday, 12/24, for boys waterpolo;
Thursday (Christmas day) for football;
Friday, 12/26 for girls cross country;
Saturday 12/27 for boys cross country;
Sunday 12/28 for girls volleyball;
Tuesday 12/30 for girls tennis.
when are the all area picks gonna be in the paper
Santa Fe is sure having a rough start to the season, are they that bad??! Or they just too young??!
Excellent reporting. How do we Tribune readers get that kind of thorough and detailed information out of our prep news people?
We covered the signing and it was in a story that ran in Wednesday's paper.
