GO LAKEWOOD!!!!!!!!!!!
SMASHING THIS YEAR!
Hey steven=sissy name, so don’t worry about I or j; your repr, South gate hs low rent!! Does your school even play football? Lets get real, were you at or in the 605 game? SPHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im a player from the west and would like to let you know that if you can change my name on your roster its Steven, Ibarra #6 Not with a "y" and i Also Respresent South Gate High School so if you can change that it would be nice!
oh yeah!! And its all about the "WEST"!
coach jimenez is only helping out at rosemead. jimenez and coach Pete Gonzalez could not see eye to eye. good thing they both are gone now. hopefully life will be good to them.
Coach Jimenez is at Rosemead High School.
st. paul? guy this is for you. first off st. paul has a great coaching staff we will shock the area st. paul pride is back. we will just shut you up when the season comes
watch out here we come (St.Paul) football season. hey whittier christian can you hang? i dont think so, so go back and keep hiding. we'll shock the world this season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
does anyone know where Jimenez is going to coach?
To St. Paul said; was he (Gonzales) asks to resign yes or no? Our new Principle has made changes for the good of the school. Coach Ancich has said its time to get back to what made SP great, and Pete damaged it.
You are the one who will eat humble pie. People like you are the jokes, we have been losing kids for years now and it started when Coach Ancich left. Plus we will win a lot more games this year and finally take out servite. Punkaxx amat has to come to the PIT= a lost for them.
St paul?
Do you really think that SP ran coach Gonzalez and his staff out of town? You my friend are not playing with a full deck... To say that SP is a better place without them is simply stupid. That school now is a bonified joke. That Principal and staff are a joke. Wait and see the results of the upcoming school year. Sp will be LUCKY to win three games. Im not saying that they don't have talent, I'm saying they can have a great coaching staff but Ancich will not listen. Trust me on this. Power left and power right is all your going to get. So remember when things go bad don't point fingers at the school and adminstration be a big man and bite the bullet. Be humble and eat humble pie.
the 605 game was terribly organized this year. The east coaches were awful execept one of them. We were a good team in a bad situation. Thats why we lost players who came to practice and worked hard in practice didnt' even play in the game, thats emberassing there had to have been a better coaching staff then Sante Fe High school
I have to agree with What Would U Do?!? Except that what was failed to be mentioned was the other +7 on that double reverse flea flicker pass. The east db got back into position to pick the ball off or at least knock it down but instead he over ran the ball. How is that the SFS coaches fault? He surely wasnt a Santa Fe kid! And what was up with the West middle linebacker making back to back sacks in the second half? I thought blitzing up the middle was against 605 rules?
How soon some in here have forgotten what Jack, his staff and his real team did to that same Warren coaching staff Week 1. Final SF (D7) 41 - Warren (D3) 14. Hey, Warren faithful....how many yards did Turner end up with in that game????????
where is all the talk about spring ball?
the was the best that's right us westsiders won...go westside
Hum I guess that’s why we “St. Paul “ran Coach Pete Gonzales and his staff out of town and drop them on their ears. I think the coaching for the east was bad, but Pete couldn't’t coach himself out of a paper bag. St.Paul is a better place now. Montebello good luck because you’ll need it.
Your best player fumbles at the 8 yard line, Red Scores +7. Your Quarterback/Center fumbles the snap, Red Scores +14. Your Long snapper snaps all of his attempts over the holders head, Black –17. The East had 2 outstanding kickers in this game. That’s a 17 point swing. These are All-Stars, what part of turnovers like this is coaching??? The west had some of these problems, but they were lucky to not have turnovers like this so close to their goal line. The East coach said the team that makes the least mistakes will win. Don’t blame anybody; it’s supposed to be a game for FUN!!! Hats off to the Red!
P.S. Great double reverse flea flicker pass!!! Now that was FUN!!!
i have to agree that the east were poorly coached, the best coached team i seen was the 2007 east team coached by Pete Gonzalez and the st paul staff
I went to the 605 game. I thought I was at a santa fe simi-finals game, the coaching staff choked again. The two players who thru there helmets and pads and kicked the trash can after the game showed no class.
i wish i could say the west just won and it was a good game but our coaches from sfs were stupid, thats why kids go to St.Paul, bad coaching! sfs had 6 players. why not bring the whole team?.... the game has pass mahlstede and it shows, west 21 to 6.
Hey "Real" dummy:
Burke did not play against us in football so how could we have exposed him. Since he is playing in the Baseball All Star game next week did it ever occur to your pea brain that perhaps he is concentrating on baseball.
It is dips&*t's like you that give SP a bad name.
Congrats to....
Matt Botello, Nate Blaikie, Eric Stern and all our other HOME TOWN HERO's!!!
AND to BEN BURKE, disregard those with diarrhea of the mouth...because when PEOPLE are CONFUSED, everything SOUNDS like the TRUTH!!! Continue to DO YOU!!!
Get REAL..."real",
What were you on, about your 6,7th out of your daily 12-pack of bud light when you wrote this. What a joke! Enough of this crap. Write coherent sentences about the positives you find in the players; ALL the players who work their asses off every day to advance and compete. Not the beer soaked garbage you believe to be "real". Here's an example for you to start YOUR training: I really appreciate the athleticism of (choose a name homer) when he (does what you wish you could but will never be able to do). _____________ shows true potential as a (insert position, because). You get the idea. Aren't you lucky I just happened to come across this post. I'm not even from your area, but know a jackass when I hear one. HEEHAAW.
By the way, which ever school it is that you supposedly represent should revoke your affiliation, refund your parents money, and shut their doors to the likes of you.
Eric Zuniga and Marcus Galan don’t underestimate the enormous pride that we Pico Rivera citizens feel for you our tremendous sons. We without hesitation thank you young men and hope & pray for both of you. Have a good time at the game.
I think we St. Paul exposed ben bure and that weak arm of his. The 605 game is for good players not favorite players. I would like to see him back next year but he’ll be 20 years old I guess it’s time to move on.
where are the long beach poly kids at?? and no ben burke from la serna
should be a good game, the east is stacked at the running back position
