Prognostications: Week 1

I must admit that all this trash talking is rediculous. Let the kids play. There is nothing wrong wrong with friendly rivalry. Yes! I am a true diehard SP fan. Been going to SP games for over 30 yrs. Played at SP for four of em. I am the first to amdit WOW! Looks like another tough year. On the serious side. La Habra would handle us our a&% I am the first to admit. The problem hear is no one gives any respect to one another. I must say I am truly disappointed how Murray and others cover this page. I believe if the sports page was more like the OC Register and their OC Varsity section. All the trash talking would subside somewhat! You guys definetely do not cover the area teams evenly. Plus you do not update this website hardly. Look at the videos and the blast from the past SP game. How old are they! Plus why would you report a kid transferred out. You the writers are starting all the debating with that column! Even when some schools do have legitimate teams you still do not cover them well through out the year. Look SP has never gotten love from Murray and folks. I aint cryin bout it! But I just feel if we had a legitimate high school section here we would have much better coverage. And much less trash talking cuz we wouldnt need this blog then!!!

What did she report? If it was reported and nothing was found of wrong doing then the student would be playing correct? I seriously fail to understand what your gripe is? She is a principal and that is her job, to keep the integrity of all actions of her school at hand. you are a fool with no sense of professionalism and/or integrity. You are person looking for shortcuts and easy way outs, honestly you are pathetic and learn this, legacies are not made over a kid transferring it will be made from the students at SP that move onto succesful careers and productive citizens in life!! First, you must not have read my posts correctly. I said all the bad karma is pointed at Ms.Barr. Not her son. I feel bad for the kid . I feel even worse that Ms. Barr is his mother. Before you go off on a SP tangent understand what people are talking about. Did you know that she reported a kid that transfered out ?Why do that to the kid? He was gone before the firing of Gonzales.
As for Ms.Barr, I hope that you go down when the school does. It's all your fault. This will be your legacy at SP. Good luck. You can always become a bikini model down the road.....

I'm a Condor watcher. I have to laugh at all these blogs. Ms. Barr is getting hammered, rightfully so from what I understand. My nephew is friends with the kid she reported to CIF, just stop now. Let things go but from what I read and what I hear it is true the SP people don't let anything go. Thats a shame.

Your right, I don't think West Co. is overrated, may have been a bit overconfident and thus El Rancho proceeded to give them a nice wake up punch in the face. Venice is a good team with a couple of D1 athletes. Between the loss to El Rancho, and the beating that Venice was giving West Co in the first quarter & part of the second, something finally clicked and West Co was able to put together several drives and play as a team and it turned into a barn burner of a game that had both sides up on their feet for the final 3 minutes of the game.
WC is a better team than the one that showed in week 0 and should go deep in the playoffs, I hope the Ranch ends up having a strong season too, especially since they beat us, who know's, we may see you in the playoffs, but thats too far away to think about now,
cause this week our boys have Bishop Amat on their minds, and next week another tough game vs Glendora.

Are you serious coming on hear and bashing a kid because of an injury you are truly a piece of ish. Unbelievable the crap that comes out of peoples minds and onto this blog. St. Paul = I recommend: if you are a player, tell the idiots that write falsities about the quality of your program (example= you are better than La Habra!! La Habra would beat you 60 to 0!) to stop being an "idiot" on these blogs. If you are a parent, try to solve the problem yourself.

Then maybe less will badmouth your Saint Paul football team. (You call it hate, but I think it is a normal reaction to stupidity)! Not many like a bragger, especially when there is nothing to brag about.

I hate to say it, but karma is a mother! You should think twice before you try and report a kid about transfering. You hurt that kid by not letting him play. Guess what, your season is over and so is your son's. I feel bad for him but not you. You get what you deserve. Sp will beat Pioneer and that's all for the season...

Garfield is a decent team as shown by their win over Birmingham. St. Paul beat a decent team.

All you people crack me up. You got those that hate SP for whatever reason and look for anything they can find to bag on SP. Those people are as bad as they people they bag on. Then you got those 2 or 3 individuals allegedly from SP who say the stupidest things and make the rest of us SP followers look bad.

It is too bad that this blog has turned into a hate fest. What ever happened to the days when the talk would center around your team and their chances for the year. Now everyone slings crap and there is nothing worth reading here anymore.

El Sancho?

Talking alot of caca for two wins! The best part is we do it on the field. We will save all the trash talking for when we play. Direct orders from the coachng staff.

Cerritos has typically always been an ugly game for ER. Last season was the only one where we completely blew them out. Cerritos definitely had some really good size across the board, the line was huge, the skills had some great size and were very athletic. Cerritos' problem is depth, but those kids will win some games this season, they appear to be well coached. El Rancho played with the backup QB all night. ER never trailed in the game and it never really felt like we were in danger to lose the game, it was just a sluggish game where the team was already looking to next week. The so called WC on a down year lost by a TD to City Section power Venice last night, idk if you can say they are overrated. If ER keeps playing hard like against WC they should go into league with a 4-1 record, by then the team should be getting some kids back who are going to help tremendously.

i heard medina didnt even play for sjb, i am sure his dad is mad!!!!! kid you have to do the work!!

You mean that impressive win last minute win over a cerritos team that hasn't won in 14 games spanning over almost two years or an overrated win over over West Covina on a self proclaimed down year. One West Covina win does not a championship team make. Remember your winless league season a year ago. Darkhorse maybe. Favorite lol. If pioneer wins a league game i will eat my hat. lol. Whittier is not as bad as you think. League will be close. Santa fe has to be the favorite.
