Week 2: Pick 'em and weep ...

Whittier people: stop acting as bloggers from other places and putting me down.

A lot of my blogs are showing to be valid. Examples include La Mirada's success, Cody Clements as the area's best, is not second, Whittier,s sucking up to parents, Montebello being average,St. Paul Baseball not being a CIF Power once they move up a little, and La Habra being the best in the area. Just a little.

And as far a me getting a coaching job, I cannot with my working hours. It is not that tough to get a coaching job around here anyway!! Especially assistant coaching jobs. Principals are not looking for great coaches. Some are, like maybe Villa Park. But that is Orange County where schools are "very into" winning.

There are all kinds of assistant coaches in the area that have no real "solid background" as a college athlete or even any more than a Pop Warner like athletic education.

If I wanted to get a coaching job it would not be tough. I have probably played more college baseball games than 10 or 20 of the coaches in the area have played combined.

Cantwell QB? please. I was at the game. He doesn't hit his target. He tries to scramble and is too slow. Its everyone else's fault but the qb. No arm, avg speed, and too skinny! The backfield is where cantwell is strongest on offense. Besides the only reason they are winning is because the defense is awesome. An offense is only as good as its qb...and well...look at what your are scoring.

You really need to give some more ink to the Whittier Christian Heralds. We will go all they way these kids are tough and play with alot of heart. Steven we are praying for you and we know God is watching over you and you will make a full recovery, and to the rest of the Heralds stay strong and focused and play like it's your last game. You guys can do it, I speak for all of the parents and families of this team show them who you are. WE ARE DUBC

El Rancho's DB's seriously need to step it up. The defense played a heck of a game and if it were not for both of those bombs given up ER wins this game easily. Josh Perea did not play until the second half, he gave us a nice emotional boost, but we need to get the ball to Anthony Ayala a lot more. Once again a typical ER vs BG game, we have a chance to put them away and we just don't do it.

Ex Condor parent, please learn to spell! The grammar might come later. It’s sad but true, the Ancich well is about to run dry at Cal. The coaches are bad and don’t know much about HS football. Look at Jonathan Ruiz, Jason Ramirez lol, Stephen La Carra, Louie Zamora. The head coach Arnold lol.

St Paul 55 / Pioneer 0 enough said !!!

Good hard fought win BG, black and blue as predicted. I would like to say great sportsmanship at the end of the game that will go a long way with the young players in the stands. Good luck the rest of the season and will have to do it again next year.

you cal parents and fans can cry as much as you want but your buddy and loved one ancish is not coaching cal anymore my son enjoyed playing under ancish, but if you care about your son's team at cal, you should not be bad mouthing their coaches and let him hear it because he might believe you and the crying could spred to other teamats and that will realy kill there chances of wining later. Think about what you're doing.

Scout and Anonymous BG loose to The Ranch not this year but I guess BG will UPSET the DONAS. What you base this I dont know overall we have better program and our record vs The Ranch is better so I guess we will upset them

Cal High needs coach Dusan Ancich and his coaching staff back, these clowns that are there right now know nothing about football. Ancich had brought the football spirit back to Cal. Our program needs to do something immediately.

The play calling tonight was awful. I guess it’s gonna be the wildcat, our best play. Cal might win some games but the coaching sucks! If we make the playoffs, were out in the first round. La Mirada has a large o-line but no team speed. One thing they can pass and we can’t, granted (LM) short passes, and then we can’t tackle and look soft. Thank you Arnold and staff, why did you have summer football camp?
