Santa Fe wins, La Habra loses

| | Comments (16) |

Santa Fe put on an impressive display in defeating Bell Gardens, 42-0. It wasn't just the score, but how they did it. Bell Gardens was never really in the game. Santa Fe intercepted four passes. Offensively, QB Alex Flores ran for three touchdowns and threw for two more, including an on-the-money pass between two defenders on which Cameron Oliver made a circus, diving catch in the end zone.

In dropping a 28-13 decision to Los Alamitos, La Habra made some uncharacteristic mistakes, had a punt blocked and recovered at the LH 1-yard line to set up one of the Griffin scores, and the receivers had a less-than-spectacular night, reportedly dropping at least four passes.

Santa Fe wins one big game and "spectator" is "questioning IF" La Habra can beat Santa Fe. Shouldn't the question be the other way around??

La Habra is pretty good we all know that, but lets see if they can beat Santa Fe, they should match them up next year

You have scheduled us and we have whooped you. Its me Albert from Servite. Need I say more? Exactly shut you up just like Servite shut St. Paul up. Nothing more to say. Wait...If only St. Paul football team wouldn't give up like St. Paul bloggers, then you'd be going somewhere. Alas, St. Paul football is in a sorry state and can not whimper up a heartbeat to play at Servite's level. Boo Hoo. Enjoy the rest of your year, which as we all know it, they will result in losses. Just like when you played BIG BAD MIGHTY SERVITE!

Roger: you do a great job! But Santa Fe has not done enough to be rated over "Powerhouse La Habra"!!

Well anonymous if you want and need quiet, state your school and schedule us and will put you to rest! As awful is that might sound, your followers can thank us. But you won’t schedule or even state your name. St Paul will love to play your school but its fear right.

where are all the st. paul bloggers that are always bragging? its awfully quiet. Way to shut up up sjb. Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU!

Santa Fe is always very, very respectable!! Yes, they still have never won the CIF Championship, but year in and year out they have a good club!

The year they should have won it all, Schurr won it with a QB that went to La Verne (I think) and a heck of a team of players and a real "quality" coach who is not there any more.

I am surprised Santa Fe has been knocked out in the first round lately. Certainly not a CIF Power, but a league power. Well, THEY SHOULD BE with all the players they get from Norwalk.

st paul is not the club they have been. Plenty of talk but not action. Talk crap about Servite, who has beaten everyone. No clue!!

BOSCO 35 SP 0 what a joke SP is they crossed the fifty once then they fumbled! They talk a lot of masa but can't back none of it up. Sad part was there was more bosco fans there at the beloved Pit

El Rancho said:

Off the subject, El Rancho’s Randy Flores, was brought in the eight ending last night and struck out James Loney. Dodgers vs. Colorado; great to see a local kid in the big leagues. My beloved Dodgers still won!!!!

What was the Bosco, St Paul score?

Anonymous said:

St. Paul was humbled alright! Humbled big time! hahahahahaha! What will poor Murray have to say about his favorite school. This school isn't like AMAT. Never has been, never will be.

Respect said:

SP will find that out tonight. Bull shxt SP will win tonght you need to be humble,

PAC5 said:

Another loss to a quality team. La Habra will not get respect outside the area until they can beat a D1 team. Stay away from the PAC5, it can be a humbling experience. SP will find that out tonight.
