Two More Signees
A couple of local athletes inked their names to letters of intent over the last 24 hours.
California High kicker Tyler Hadden signed a letter of intent with the University of Hawaii of the Western Athletic Conference on Thursday at 9:30 p.m.
Only hours earlier, Hadden verbally committed to New Mexico State and was set to catch a plane to the Land of Enchantment when his plans changed. He will instead get on a flight to Hawaii on Saturday morning.
St. Paul's Adam Padilla also had a maddening few days before he signed with Division II West Texas A & M of the Lone Star Conference South Division this morning on campus at 9:40.
Padilla intended to sign on Wednesday but held back as a couple of late offers came in. After two days of little progress, Padilla decided on West Texas.
Congratulations to both players.
