Congratulations to Joey Davis
Maybe I should have titled this "in case you missed it" but congratulations to Santa Fe High School's Joey Davis, who finished runner-up at 135 pounds at Saturday's CIF-State Wresting Championships in Bakersfield.
Here's the story we ran in Sunday's paper.
There are close to 200 area varsity wrestlers and Davis was the last one standing. That's pretty impressive, especially since the youngster is only a sophomore.
Kudos to you, Mr. Davis.
