Latest CIF-Southern Section Polls

| | Comments (7) |

In case anyone was interested, here is how our locals are ranked in the latest CIF-Southern Section Polls.

Baseball

Division 3

No. 9 El Rancho

Division 4

No. 4 St. Paul

Softball

Division 5

No. 5 Whittier Christian

Boys Volleyball

No one ranked

Comments: All El Rancho has been doing is winning and yet the Dons continue to drop spots from their original #6 ranking of two weeks ago. I'm a little surprised La Mirada baseball isn't ranked in Division 2 and California volleyball isn't ranked either.

ERDons - Nice comment! The Dons can play one heck of a game and Friday's game will be a great game to watch. Both teams are gonna play their hardest....May the best man win!!

Thanks for mentioning Cal High boys volleyball. We are not ranked and it is surprising. We have a lot of talent and one that has been offered a full ride but has not yet committed. I think that they are way underrated but the teams in our overall division are very talented.

SFHS you guys have played tremendous against us. It's all good, plus we both aren't done yet.

More power to you chieftanfan, that's is two in a roll. The best thing is we get to do it again on Friday. I would say good luck but I'll wait till after Friday's game. Go Dons!!

I have a question regarding all league stand outs. Do the players get all league by their position or over all play? Do all teams in a league have to have one player represented or what?

Your Dons lost yesterday to Santa Fe High School. It's the second game Santa Fe has had against the great almighty Dons and they have won both. How is it that all the hype is going everywhere else but to the chieftans?! Santa Fe deserves some hype for the noise they've been making. Go Chiefs!!
