Another Ho-Hum effort from WC's Courtney McGee
There are only a couple of weeks, maybe a month left in the prep career of Whittier Christian High standout pitcher Courtney McGee. If you haven't seen the Cal Baptist-bound McGee, she's definitely worth it.
The senior just tossed back-to-back no-hitters this week. Let me say that again, BACK-TO-BACK no-hitters in the Heralds' 6-0 and 7-0 wins over Olympic League rivals Paraclete and Los Angeles Baptist. She also had 26 combined strikeouts in both games against only four walks.
For the season, McGee is 15-5 with an 0.64 ERA. She can also hit, as she's batting .400 with 14 RBIs and 16 runs. That's pretty amazing.
