The Rockies begin a three-game series with the Dodgers today through Sunday.
Flores, a situational left-hander, has been one of Colorado's top relievers this year. The nine-year pro is 1-0 this season through 12 appearances and has not surrendered a run in 6 2/3 innings. He also has allowed only three hits.
He entered in the seventh inning of the Rockies' 12-inning, 6-5 victory on Wednesday to face San Diego Padres slugger Adrian Gonzalez and retired him on a flyout to left.
In the previous game, Flores was faced with a bases-loaded, two-out jam in the bottom of the sixth and induced a comebacker to end the inning.

Flores was a great player at USC and broke many records, was PAC 10 player of the year as a freshmen.
