Part of a Balanced Breakfast

| | Comments (9) |

Do you remember those old Wheaties commercials from the 80's up until the early part of this decade that used to tout that old familiar phrase "part of a balanced breakfast?"

Well, that's kind of what this blog is.

Since I've taken over the blog, I've received countless inquiries that were already answered in this blog or the paper or on other blogs (like Aram's).

For example, I received this anonymous comment on June 10, 2010 10:03 PM

Where are the stats or any coverage of the 605 game? you best believe the recently retired writer would have coveerd it! please step up your game,or step aside

I guess the anonymous commenter forgot to read the week's worth of coverage in the paper. The game story included stats and coverage.

Another comment from one of my favorites (Come on Murray) came on June 19, 2010 11:59 AM

Andrew its almost time to start going to the schools and find out about transfers into and out of the schools. I heard a kid from alhambra is transfering to LH.

COM - I know I'm not posting on the blog as fast as you'd like but don't forget to read the paper. There's a football article that mentions the transfer on June 18th. It's also listed on Aram's football blog.

So, please enjoy or hate this blog as you'd like but don't forget to read the paper and check out Aram's blog (Inside in the Huddle) frequently.

It's all part of daily balanced breakfast.

Sorry Andrew, I jumped the gun on that one. I didn't read the paper till later on that night. I get the paper delivered in the morning and don't get to read it till the night.
Is the Prep mag going to come with the paper or by it self.
