California High School
Coach Jim Arnold confirmed that sophomore running back/defensive back Josh Perez, who was out last week with a hyperextended knee, has been activated and will play today.
Perez's may need to fill in for injured running back Justin Dankert (neck), who is a game-time decision
Cantwell Sacred Heart
Cardinals coach Kim Taylor reported no injuries and said only three players (Corey Collins, Ernie Narbona and Francisco Gutierrez) will miss because of suspensions following ejections last week.
El Rancho
The Dons have a bye.
La Habra
The Highlanders are choosing not to report any injuries.
La Mirada
Coach Mike Moschetti did not report any injuries and isn't expecting anyone to miss on Friday.
La Serna
Coach Margarito Beltran reports no injuries and isn't expecting anyone to miss on Friday.
Montebello
The Oilers are on a bye
Pioneer
Pioneer coach Ramon Juarez confirmed linebacker Rigo Luquin is a game-time decision for a second straight week because of a sprained ankle suffered two weeks ago against Salesian. Luquin did not play last week versus Sunny Hills and will be replaced by Arturo Perez if he can't go.
Senior Anthony Perales, who played last week despite a sprained ankle, is also expected to play Friday.
Sophmore tight end Anthony Acevedo has been ruled out with bruised ribs and may be back by next week. Acevedo will be replaced by Jeremy Corona and receiver Eddie Aguirre.
St. Paul
Coach Marijon Ancich said it's likely the Swordsmen will be without center Greg Gilmore, who is recovering from a hematoma on his left side. Gilmore is still listed as a game-time decision and will be replaced by Sergio Lizarraga if needed.
Left guard Rick Garcia saw his first action last week and is expected to start again this week.
Linebacker Nick Downs, a transfer from Whittier, has an undisclosed knee injury. Downs missed last week and is listed as doubtful for Friday.
Linebacker James Fimbres hyperextended his knee in the opening kickoff against L.A. Garfield and is out for this week.
Santa Fe
Coach Jack Mahlstede confirmed defensive back/wide receiver/quarterback Christian Mahlstede is out Friday versus Charter Oak. The junior has a broken bone in his right hand but played in the Chiefs' first two games versus Warren and Bonita but sat out last week against Esperanza. Jack Mahlstede said Christian Mahlstede will sit this week and likely next week to properly heal in time for the Del Rio League season.
Wide receiver Joey Davis played sparingly in Santa Fe's season-opener versus Warren three weeks ago because of an injury to his right wrist. Davis is out for Friday's game versus Charter Oak and there is no timetable for his return.
Schurr
Schurr coach Ben Negrete confirmed fullback/linebacker Eric Magos is out for another week with a strained knee. Magos missed the El Toro game.
Right tackle Jose Trejo , who was supposed to be out for a week because of a sore knee last week, has been lost for the season because a staph infection developed on the injured knee. His immediate health is not in danger.
Receiver Matt Contreras has been cleared to play after a near two-month long bout with turf toe. However, it's doubtful Contreras will see action because of his lack of practice time.
Whittier
The Cardinals are choosing not to report any injuries.
Whittier Christian
Running back Joel Rhone is out of Friday's game with a continual hip injury and may not be back for a couple of weeks.
Cornerback Grady Smith is recovering from a back injury and may be cleared by next week.
The Heralds sustained a tough injury when coach Sergio Gradilla revealed that linebacker Daniel Abernethy is likely out for three weeks after breaking his middle finger in the fourth quarter of Friday's win at St. Margaret.

Anonymous - You need a reality check, no one cares about second/third string players. If your kid doesnt get any attention is because he sucks, thats reality. You dont hear professional broadcaster reporting injuries about second string players, common cut the coach some slack hes just being real.
