Video Takes: La Mirada @ La Habra (Week 1)
It's on to the first Week 1 video prediction/breakdown with SGVfootballer Aram Tolegian. Sorry for the delay, there were some technical difficulties in posting the video. In this video, we talk about a local showdown between La Mirada and host La Habra at 7 p.m. The rest of videos are coming shortly.
Last season, the Highlanders rolled over La Mirada, 54-13, in a nonleague game between Daily News No. 1 and No. 2. Both teams responded well after the win. The Highlanders won 12 of the next 13 games in clinching their third straight divisional crown and second straight CIF-Southern Section Southwest title. La Mirada won its next 12 games in a row and eventually won the CIF-SS Southern title. Last year's battle was a Division 6 vs. 9 affair. This year, with La Mirada moving up two divisions, it's now a Div. 6 vs. 7 affair.
