Enough with all the trash talking. Just let the boys play a good clean game. Cantwell had the first half and Whittier Christian had the second half. There were good plays on each side. Cantwell coaches should talk to their players about have way too many penalty's. They almost gave the game away in the second half.

Also, Coach Gradilla or any of the other coaches never said that this was going to be an easy game or anything else that would put down Cantwell. The Cantwell coaches used that as hype to get their team fired up and unfortunately they succeeded.
Whittier Christian already has a better record then last year and they Will win the rest of the game as well as C.I.F.!

Cantwell, if you are as good as you say then you guys really should have beat W.C. by a lot more than you did. We gave you a good game and though you won, we didn't give it to you easy and we didn't stop fighting!!! Let's Go Heralds, Let's Go!!!

Whittier Christian was a joke. Reality was exposed the only thing going for WC was the ref's every call in the 3rd quarter went against Cantwell it reminded me of the Lakers Kings game when the cheated to win the western conference championship. The only thing that prevented Cantwell from scoring was the lousy ref's. What a horrible crew, the worst I have ever seen. WC was overpowered, they relied on the ref's, who heavily penalized Cantwell every chance they got and WC still lost. The truth was revealed tonight, Cantwell. Who's next, WC was a joke. The ref's were joke, should be investigated.

Just got back from the game & had to come eat my crow. Cantwell beat WCHS 35-28.

Great first half by Cantwell. They were shot out of a cannon to start the game & WCHS just looked lethargic. Coach Gradilla obviously didn't have these guys mentally ready. They looked out of it.

Speed on the Cardinal side was just too much for WCHS in the first half. They didn't have an answer for Jonathan Mesa.

I thought WCHS controlled the second half though. Worthy came alive in the third quarter. I stopped counting how many tackles he had at around 12.

WCHS recovered an on-side kick with 6 seconds left but it wasn't nearly enough time.

I will say that Cantwell got posession of the ball to start the 3rd and they were penalized about 9 times on the drive. It was embarrassing to watch that. That's just plain lack of discipline by the players.

I just can't get enough talk trashing from these girls over at Whittier Christian! just tell Jeff worthy don't be crying when you guys loose . not one tackle did he get against Salesian and the heralds barley got away with a win from a division. 13 team an now they are going to get smacked around by cantwelll! cantwell doesn't run their mouth they run their running back who is ranked 10 in the STATE and with a beast offensive line and no way Is that girly offensive line of Whittier christian going to stop James becerra he is a beast. just wait WC it will be your first lost against cantwell and while you guys will be going home crying to mommy we will be walking off the field "with smirks on our faces. enough said!"

yeah you can say that cantwell hasnt given up many points until the games is out of reach, but saying they will hold Whittier Christian to just 10 points is ridiculous. You have not seen them play obviously.

What Joking and Kidding dont understand is that in every game Cantwell has giving up a couple of touchdowns at the end of each game when it has been out of reach. What is scary is that the offense continues to run at a high level and defense is continuing to improve and adjust. For St Bernards game we did not have 3 defensive starters. The boys are doing one heck of a job practicing hard today in the rain and what is even greater to see the coaches out there in the rain taking care of business. There is no glue sniffing here, just rock'em sock'em old fashion football, WOW thats team football NO... THATS CANTWELL FOOTBALL BABY!

"You heard it here first" - There is nothing to be exposed, this is essentially the same team as last year's that lost 35-31 to Monrovia in the semis. The players a year older, bigger, faster, stronger, and more experienced. While I think it will be a good game, WC wins 42-28.

Holding WC to 10 points is not realistic. Cantwell has been scored on big in nearly all their games and by much weaker teams. WC will take this one, but it won't be easy.

Cantwell takes this one by at least 2 touchdowns. WC will be exposed. Cantwell will end up playing Nordhoff in the D10 final. WC wins their league but won't get past the likes of Azusa, San Dimas or M-Town.

That being said, this will be an exciting and high scoring game and if wasn't already committed to another game I'd be at this one.

Its a no brainer for the one who can go deeper in the playoffs. Its the same team that will win Friday night.....Cantwell. 28-10
