Cantwell-Bosco Tech Baseball Rescheduled to Today

Cantwell Sacred Heart (2-1) will attempt to begin Camino Real League play today at Bosco Tech (3-4) at 3:15 p.m.

The Cardinals and Tigers were supposed to play Monday but the game was rained out and pushed back to this afternoon, according to Cardinals athletic director Omar Villalta.

La Mirada's Tyler Perez Commits

La Mirada High School fullback/tight end Tyler Perez became the sixth member of the Matadores football team to sign a national letter of intent, inking with Division II Western New Mexico University on Monday morning.

Del Rio League Baseball Begins Today

It will be interesting to see how Del Rio League teams react to the beginning of league play today. If you look at the standings, no one is really standing out. In fact, it's easy to say the league is in a slump.

Final Score: El Rancho 4, Oak Hills 2

The El Rancho High School boys soccer team has just clinched its second school championship in history, as the Dons defeated host Oak Hills 4-2 at Warren High.

Junior forward Francisco Lara scored two goals while Cristian Roldan added two assists. The Dons' additional goals came from Alejandro Haro and Erik Argueta.

Congratulations El Rancho. There will be more on the game later.

El Rancho Leads at the Half

The El Rancho High School boys soccer is a half a way from winning its first CIF-SS championship in eight years.

The Dons are leading 2-1 @ versus host Oak Hills the half on goals from Alejandro Haro (in 24th minute) and Francisco Lara (in the 34th minute).
