Del Rio League Baseball Begins Today

| | Comments (2) |

It will be interesting to see how Del Rio League teams react to the beginning of league play today. If you look at the standings, no one is really standing out. In fact, it's easy to say the league is in a slump.

California 3-3
Whittier 3-3
Santa Fe 1-5
El Rancho 0-4
La Serna 0-5
Pioneer 0-1

Here's the schedule for today:

La Serna at Pioneer, noon
Santa Fe at El Rancho, 3:15 p.m.
Whittier at California, 3:15 p.m.

Let's see who starts the season on the right foot?

Come on Andrew- it has been baseball season for weeks now and you are just getting around to posting something? Whittier is a baseball crazy area and always has been; how about results for all the games? Yet, you create a bunch of posts about basketball and soccer that nobody responds to.... Put the time in for baseball, Campa, if you are truly a "sports writer" covering the local prep scene.

When are you going to get around to mentioning schedules for the Montebello schools? Montebello Oilers had their tourny and no big deal...Del Rio teams are struggling and thats a story.
