Who wins the Del Rio League

For most of the past few decades, the Del Rio League has been about Santa Fe. But the Chiefs have tasted from the league championship cup in three years. Is this the year they end the trend?
They are the obivious choice, with deep roster and athletic players like quarterback Christian Mahlstede and receiver/wrestler Joey Davis.
But the running attacks of El Rancho and Pioneer could make this race interesting. There's also the question if La Serna can recover from graduation losses and can California bounce back from last year's injury-riddled season.
I think it's the Chiefs year. But what do you think?

@ Enough Already I could not agree with you more. I been checking this blog and others for awhile. I don't understand how adults come on to these blogs and spew crap about certain schools without knowing anything about the going ons at those schools. What I don't get is, if your a fan of a certain school why not support it in a positive way without embarrassing yourself or the young people that attend these schools. Don't forget that kids are still the ones that are playing on these teams.
I hope now that we got a new Sports Editor for the Whittier Daily News, he can put an end to these clowns that come on here with multiple screen names claiming they are supporting so and so school only to bash on that school and spew negativity.
If Mr Ramirez can keep an eye on who is who in the zoo, I think it would bring back a lot of the people that use to blog here that had insightful information. Again this is just my observation.
@reality check and anyone else who falls for the pot-stirrer who calls himself heyy-
Don't be so quick to believe this motley fool is a St. Paul supporter. Too many people love to pose as a team-faithful for a school they don't like hoping to get people all fired up and trash talking because they can hide behind their anonymity; were you born yesterday? Anyone can come on these and say they're from somewhere and not be; don't be their puppet and fall for their manipulation.
To ALL the boys in the area-
Good luck to all of you! Wishing you a good, healthy season!
I remember when St Paul was competitive with the BEST teams in Southern California. The Swordsmen have played in a lower division for years, and apparently the only comfort some of their supporters can find is to say that they can beat up on teams from an even LOWER division. How LOW can you go?
@heyy....but we will never know will we since SP doesn't play any DRL teams this year and probably won't for the near future.
Don't embarrass the rest of us Swordsmen fans with your ignorant comments, ok?
ST PAUL will smash on DRL
Santa Fe will roll through the Del Rio. Pioneer and The Ranch may have the horses on offense but their defenses will let them down.
