Echeverria delivers for St. Paul

| | Comments (0) |

St. Paul High School's Paul Echeverria was expected to be the Swordsmen's money back this season.
He was the guy who figured to get the tough yards in short-yardage situations and around the goal line.
But because of injuries, he's proven to be a more valuable commodity, becoming a key cog for St. Paul, which has started the season 4-0 and is ranked No. 1 in the CIF-Southern Section Western Division.
"He's just a tough kid," said St. Paul coach Marijon Ancich, who is in his final season after more than 30 years and three stints at the school. "He goes right after people."
