Give it a rest. No one cares about soccer. And you think your bashing of the local sports editor is going to get you more coverage?

Why don't you man up and cover the games yourself and report them to the paper?

Never mind, I see how you construct a sentence......

the NOCC tournament schedule has been out there for over a month. manage your time. this is the biggest high school soccer tournament in southern california. EL RANCHO just got done winning the varsity 1 title over some good teams. it is a shame no one was ther to cover it. like i said. priorities. i am sure this would have been more important topic on your blog than the san gabriel football team raking in the awards in their league. where is san gabriel high school again? congrats EL RANCHO, big things are headed your way. maybe FRED ROBLES will get out there one day and cover you guys. or is he covering the rose bowl too? i thought we had ESPN for that?

Georgie: As soon as I get them; left two messages with the coordinator, but haven't received anything yet.
Anonymous: Yes, you can ask why. The past two weeks have been used to put the fall all-area teams together, with some basketball coverage. It doesn't help having the semifinals and finals for a soccer tournament in the same day. How do you plan for that? I'm only one man and can't do everything, but giving it my best try as we wrap up putting the all-area teams together. We shot the last of the photos today. Next week, I'm off the prep scene while I cover the Rose Bowl, so we'll pick up soccer when they get into league play in January.

steve, 9 of the 13 area teams you cover participated in the NOCC soccer tournament. you did not even cover 1 single game. can i ask why? you got the hottest team in any sport in the area(EL RANCHO) mopping up all the competition. why are you not covering this team? i know you have covered to soccer games so far this season, but get your head out and cover the right team. E.R. is going to do big things this year. they are 9-0 and are playing in a semi final match this afternoon. just thought you should know. oh yeah, and not to mention the fact you didnt even take the time o do a soccer preview for either the boys or the girls. get over football and get into the winter sports already. who cares about who is taking over at st paul, or how many applicants they have. get with it.
