Weekend music

Those looking to go out this weekend will find some eclectic choices. Beginning with local favorites, Reel Big Fish playing the Avalon in Hollywood tonight. Their high energy ska/punk is sure to please.

Another show tonight that promises to be great is John Prine at the Wilshire Ebell. Opening for him is Jim James of My Morning Jacket.

Saturday, just in time for Halloween, The Cramps play the House of Blues in West Hollywood. Take your darkest mood and dress it up.

Sunday, if you want to see a band with one of the coolest videos ever, head out to the Troubadour in West Hollywood to catch OK Go. Their video is below. You won't believe what these guys do on treadmills. In one take, no less.
