Britney fans are finicky. that or they're bipolar. after Brit hit us and quit us, the sentiments ranged from "i wasted my time!" to "i wasted my money!" to, just, "i'm wasted!" one young man (who falls in the "i'm wasted" category, i'm almost sure) called Britney the "Cher of our generation, TOTALLY!" another young woman began to explain her philosophy behind Britney's comeback: "she's trying to be like Madonna, you know? with the sexual performances and appealing to an older audience. i mean, she's been around - " (that was her walking away mid-sentence when the valet came with her car.) wandering off to another section of the sidewalk, a Britney Spears look-a-like gushes about Barack Obama and her excitement about the upcoming election. ok, maybe she wasn't. but how many times can i explain the way someone screamed Britney's name out even 15 minutes after she had already walked off the stage, and out of our lives. it was something like a tortured cat. and just for that, i'm callin PETA on Britney's ass...
