The public memorial for Ike Turner, the R&B great who died Wednesday at 76, will be at 11 a.m. Friday (Dec. 21) at City of Refuge/Greater Bethany Community Church, 14527 S. San Pedro St. in Gardena. For information, call (310) 516-1433. A public viewing is scheduled Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home at 3875 S. Crenshaw Blvd. in Los Angeles.
