Shiny Toy Guns - Le Disko

So you've finished your Christmas shopping and you need a break from the mall? Check out Shiny Toy Guns at the Wiltern Saturday, Dec. 22 at 8pm. Their brand of 80's retro is one of the best and their song Le Disko is a fabulous piece of electropop goodness. Some of you might be familiar with the song as the one from the Razr2 commercial, the one with the subway Matrix flair. It and many others will have your shoulders rising and head bobbing in no time, forgetting all that shopping tension.

You can check out some of their "weapons" here. By all accounts this band is great live and deserving of their current success. Touring non-stop for the past three years, the band has hit all 50 states. Members of the band have some unusual hobbies, including fishing and chasing tornadoes from Illinois down to Texas. And to top it all off, these guys are Los Angeles based, so you'll be supporting local music! -David Sprague
