Paid Dues hip-hop festival in San Bernardino announces full lineup; includes Atlanta’s Trinidad James and Houston’s Scarface among others

SAN BERNARDINO – Hip-hop rookies like Atlanta’s Trinidad James and veterans such as Houston’s Scarface are just two of the additions announced to the Paid Dues Independent Hip-Hop Festival on March 30 at the National Orange Show.

James is known for his popular song “All Gold Everything” while Scarface is a member of the pioneering southern hip-hop group Geto Boys and who has sold millions of records on his own.

Hip-hop artist and festival co-founder Murs announced the full lineup to take place on three stages on the show’s website at www.paidduesfestival.com/acts on Wednesday night.

Additionally, the event will be hosted by Hollywood Holt, Black Cloud Music and TayF 3rd and 2Mex. The DJ’s will be Mark Luv, Monalisa, Jansport J and DJ Rtistic.

“I’m excited about WC personally. And Suga Free,” Murs said while announcing the lineup on the Paid Dues website.

He added that “there’s so many people I have to leave off every year” because of space constrants and he didn’t know who was going to be part of the meet and greet session at the event.

“Tweet all your favorite artists to do the meet and greet,” Murs said.

Previously announced were headliners Black Hippy (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock), with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis; Tech N9ne; De La Soul; Dom Kennedy; Immortal Technique; Hopsin; Joey Bada$$; and Grouch & Eligh.

Doors open at noon on March 30 at the events center, at 689 S. E Street, San Bernardino.

General admission is $76 while VIP is $186.
