My column is getting an early start on Veterans Day with the act 4Troops will holding a Veterans Day celebration at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside.
Group members, according to the www.foxriversidelive.com website, started singing country and pop songs for soldiers overseas in Afghanistan and Iraq but are now out of the service.

Sgt. David Clemo, Capt. Meredith Melcher, Staff Sgt. Ron Henry and Sgt. Daniel Jens donate proceeds to veterans’ charity groups.

* Meanwhile, Fontana hip-hop artist Hit-Boy, originally scheduled for a Nov. 3 concert at the Glass House, has moved his date move to Dec. 21.
There was no reason given on the Glass House website for the change in dates.

Tickets remain $12 to $15 for the artist who helped produce the September 2011 hit “N***** in Paris” for Jay-Z and Kanye West that has sold more than two million digital units.

* In local casino news, an extremely diverse set of musical acts will head to the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio over the coming months.

Rocker Steve Winwood is scheduled for Nov. 17; shock rocker Alice Cooper is planned for Dec. 1; Rock’s Journey will play on Dec. 8; Soul acts The Temptations and The Four Tops are set for Jan. 19; R & B’s Earth, Wind & Fire will perform on Feb. 2; and comedian Don Rickles and pop’s Tony Orlando are headlining Feb. 8.

Start time is generally 8 p.m. for the concerts

Start time ranges from 3 p.m. for The Young Americans performance to 9 p.m. for CeeLo, the Moody Blues and Cole and 8 p.m. for Dave Koz.
