Hip-hop festival gets four of the genre’s best in Wu-Tang, Rakim, KRS-One and Slick Rick

Influential hip-hop acts Wu-Tang Clan, Rakim, KRS-One and Slick Rick will headline the Aug. 21 Rock the Bells 2010 Festival Series.

Each headlining act will perform in their entirety what is considered to be their groundbreaking album.

*Wu-Tang Clan’s album is “Enter The 36 Chambers” (without Ol Dirty Bastard, who died in 2004 after an accidental overdose on cocaine)
*Rakim’s album is “Paid In Full” (but without his DJ Eric B as far as I know)
*KRS-One’s album is “Criminal Minded” (without DJ Scott La Rock, who died in 1987 after getting shot)
*Slick Rick’s album is “The Great Adventures Of”

The 7th annual festival will take place at the National Orange Show Events Center, 689 S. E Street.

Other artists include Street Sweeper Social Club, Murs & 9th Wonder, Wiz Khalifa and
Clipse, Immortal Technique, Brother Ali and more.
