The trilogy

I'm convinced that the NBA felt it had to schedule Shaq-Kobe III for Christmas Day if it had any hopes of competing with the NFL. Even though Christmas will be on a Monday, the NFL will have two games that evening. The first is Philadelphia at Dallas. There's at least a minor storyline there involving Terrell Owens, I believe.

What's interesting is that the Christmas game in Miami might not even be the biggest show in town that day. The Dolphins are playing in the second game of the NFL doubleheader at home against the Jets. It will be Week 16 of the season. And from what I understand, the first love of Miami sports fans always has and will be the Dolphins.
