The Historical Society of Long Beach is playing host to a discussion on "The Past, Present and Future of Development and Architecture of Long Beach" Thursday, Nov. 20, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the organization's offices at 4260 Atlantic Ave.

Speakers will be Historic Preservation Officer Jan Ostasha, Redevelopment Manager Amy Bodek, historic preservation expert Karen Clements and local architect Jon Glasgow.

Panelists will share their diverse views on preservation and the future of the City's historic buildings and neighborhoods. John Thomas will moderate.
