The Willmore City Heritage Association is inviting residents and those interested to an open house Saturday, Nov. 22 at 419 Daisy Ave., from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The event will celebrate the renovation of the 1904 Victorian home moved from the Chavez School site.  WCHA saved the house from demolition by working with the Redevelopment Agency to purchase the house and the lots on which it currently sits.

The house has been meitculously refurbished and modernized inside and out and many historic features have been retained or renovated.  The Willmore association used grants and volunteers to do some of the work. And now they are putting the house on the market.

Photos and information on the home are available at   http://california.neighborcity.com/Long_Beach/Downtown_Long_Beach/detail/P649993/419_Daisy_Ave/

More info is available from Realtor Carrol Goddard of the Willmore City Heritage Association at 562-624-6240 or by e-mail at Carrol@GoddardGroup.net
