The Wrigley Area Neighborhood Alliance invites residents to attend a pair of Saturday night movies at 7:30 p.m. on the median of Daisy Avenue near 20th Street.
On July 18, the animated Happy Feet, the 2006 musical comedy about penguins that won the Academy Award for best animated feature film. The event is sponsored by Signal Hill Petroleum.
On July 25, Sixth District Councilman Dee Andrews' office is sponsoring Hotel for Dogs, a 2009 comedy adapted from a children's book about two orphan siblings, who open a place for stray dogs.
