It may seem a little early to be getting into the Halloween spirit. But time's a wasting if you want to get in on the harrowing haps as a volunteer for the Historical Society of Long Beach's 14th Annual Historical Cemetery Tour to be staged Halloween Day, Saturday, October 31.
Kristi Fischer at kristif@hslb.org is taking applications until Thursday, Sept. 10.
The group needs help in everything from ticket sales to tour guides, from set up to tear down and everything in between. So if you want to be one of the truly ghoul kids this Halloween, you can drop Fischer a line or call Letticia Montoya at 562- 424-2220.
A list of volunteer jobs is available on the Historical Society of Long Beach Web site. It should be noted, however, that some of the information, such as the people portrayed and the date and time, are from last year's event. HSLB is working to update its site with this year's info.
