Breaking bread is a great way to create a sense of community, and to catch up with all the local gossip. North Long Beach has its monthly Dine Out 90805, which has been a popular gathering of neighbors for the past decade now at area restaurants on the last Monday of each month. Bixby Knolls has its monthly Supper Club on first Mondays.
A Taste of Wrigley is the newest effort on that front. The monthly dine-out debuts Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 6:30 p.m. at Buono's Restaurant, 401 Willow Street.
As with the other dinner clubs, the event will rotate to local eateries and allow neighbors to get together and talk about the events of the day.
