It takes an unusual alignment of the planets for such an occurrence to take place, but the Wrigley Association, which holds its monthly meetings on the first Monday of the month, unless it is a holiday, is actually holding its regular meeting almost midway through the month.
Because September began on a Tuesday and was followed by Labor Day, this has been the longest month for Wrigleyites. It will actually have been 6 weeks since the group last met when it convenes on Monday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. at Veterans Park, 101 East 28th Street.
Meredith Reynolds from the Office of Sustainability will be the featured speaker and discuss the master plan and how it relates to her office.
There will also be some political housecleaning on the docket. New president Bethel Cope-Vega, who replaces Annie Greenfeld who resigned a week ago, will form an election committee to fill a vacancy on the board of directors. The election committee calls for one member of the general membership. The other two members are selected by the President and the Board of Directors.
