Cambodian culture festival

An open air festival of Cambodian arts, cuisine and culture will be staged Sunday, Dec. 6 in the parking lot of the Mark Twain Branch Library between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Artisans, cooks and members of the Cambodian community will be on hand to demonstrate and instruct residents in a number of interactive lessons. Among the lessons will be one on how to cook num ansom ang, a popular Khmer dessert, as well as demonstrations on the use of popular spices and cooking techniques.

There will also be demonstrations on Cambodian classical and folk dancing, Khmer language workshops and assorted craft and cultural demonstrations.
