Seal Beach workers taking Week 52 off

Seal Beach City Hall and the maintenance Yard will be closed the last week of the year.

City workers will not be at work Dec. 24 through Jan. 1. City Hall will reopen Jan. 4 at 8 a.m. for business

Critical and emergency public safety operations and staffing with police, dispatch, fire, and marine safety will continue uninterrupted, according to City Manager Dqvid Carmany.

Lifeguard services at the beach and pier will continue as normal. Marine Safety headquarters will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

North Seal Beach Center - Senior Lunch Program will remain open weekdays, with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year's Day, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., with lunch served at 11:30 a.m.

 Mary Wilson Library will be open on Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day, and open on New Year's Eve from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Library operations will continue the same, with Mondays and Tuesdays 12-8 p.m., Wednesdays & Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed Fridays and Sundays.

Utility payments can be made by mail, online at https://sealbeach.merchanttransact.com/, or by depositing a payment in the locked box outside of City Hall.

The trash collection schedule will continue as normal with the exception of the regular collection on Christmas Day and New Year's Day, which will be collected on Saturdays, Dec. 26, and Jan. 2.

 Christmas trees will be collected on regular collection days from Dec. 28 through Jan. 9.
The City Council will meet Monday, but there will be no meeting Dec. 28. The next regularly scheduled meeting to be held Jan. 11. The Planning Commission's next regularly scheduled meeting is set for Jan. 9.
