The following update on the Termino Drain project in Belmont Heights was provided by Victor Bermudez of the Los Angeles County Department of Power and Water.

"Colorado Blvd has been reopened as of last Friday 8-27-10. Park Ave is scheduled to be closed as of today and will remain closed as construction crosses over to the PE R/W connecting with Phase II of the project. This duration will last until the middle of October. Due to safety concerns and restoration still ongoing, Appian Way and the Colorado Lagoon parking lot will remain closed until all is completely restored which should be near the end of September or beginning of October. Parking will still be available across the street in the corner parking lot. We are continuing along the PE R/W with construction of the double box and progressing well. We are still a couple of months ahead of schedule. Work at 6th and Quincy is continuing and we are still scheduled to start drilling operations at the beginning of October."
