Atlantic Ave. street work

Commuting on Atlantic Avenue in North Long Beach might be a bit tricky. The following is a notice from the Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association:

The heavy work for the Atlantic repaving project, between 52^nd and San Antonio, gets underway tomorrow.  The curb, gutter, and concrete work is complete and now begins the cold milling and repaving with rubberized asphalt.
 
For the next two weeks expect delays on Atlantic between 52^nd and San Antonio with one lane of traffic remaining open for north- and southbound travel.
 
San Antonio remains clear for east and west travel.
