L.B.Library hours posted for FY 2011

The Long Beach Public Library has implemented standardized hours for Fiscal Year 2011.

Four neighborhood libraries will close on Mondays: El Dorado, 2900 Studebaker Road; Bret Harte, 1595 W. Willow St.; Mark Twain, 1401 E. Anaheim St.; amd North, 5571 Orange Ave.

"Despite these reductions, Long Beach Public Library is committed to providing excellent customer service to our Long Beach community," said library director Glenda Williams.

 All libraries will now be open Tuesday - Saturday. Open hours are:

MAIN LIBRARY: Tuesday, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 pm

ALL NEIGHBORHOOD LIBRARIES: Tuesday, 12 noon - 7 p.m.; Wednesday, 12 noon - 6 p.m.; Thursday, 12 noon - 7 p.m.
Friday, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
