A Clothing and Food Drive for Alabama Tornado Victims will be launched May 13.
The daylong effort, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., will continue through May 14, at 9 a.m. - 12 noon. at the DHHS Central Facility Center, 1143 E. Rhea St., next to Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
Essentials suggested for contribution are nonperishable [packaged]food, bottled water, diapers and wipes, baby food/formula, juice, clothing attire, socks, underwear and shoes, lightly worn shoes/clothes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, tarps, generators, blankets, gift cards, supplies.
