Those facing foreclosure or struggling with mortgages are invited to a pair of free Foreclosure Counseling Clinics.
The first is Wednesday, May 18, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Community Grace Brethren Church, 5885 Downey Ave. Another will be held Wednesday, June 15, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Antioch Church of Long Beach, 1535 Gundry Ave.
The Long Beach Housing Development Company (LBHDC) and Los Angeles Neighborhood Housing Services (LANHS) are conducting the clinics targeted to homeowners who are or will be facing challenges with their loans.
Counselors from LANHS, a HUD-approved counseling agency. Chase Bank, Bank of America, GMAC, and Citi Mortgage representatives will be available for individual homeowners who have mortgage loans with their banks.
Those meeting with bank representatives will be asked to bring mortgage statements and monthl budgets and be prepared to provide other information.
