Community members are invited to a workshop on Using Technology to Find Employment that will be hosted by Seventh District Councilman James Johnson on Tuesday, May 17, 10 a.m. until noon at Bret Harte Library, 1595 W. Willow St.
The workshop will teach job seekers how to search more than 50 online job sources through www.HireLB.com. Attendees will also learn about entering resumes and job skills online, obtain information about the Pacific Gateway's Job Search Services and learn of opportunities at the Port of Long Beach and the Long Beach airport.
