Low-income housing tour

  An opening ceremonty and tours of four renovated properties called The Courtyards in Long Beach will be hosted by Fourth District Councilman Patriick O'Donnell, The Long Beach Housing Development Company and Clifford Beers Housing, Inc. on Thursday, May 19.

 The ceremony will take place at 3:30 p.m. at 1134 Stanley Ave. Two tours of the four Courtyards properties will be conducted at 2:30 p.m.  and 4:30 p.m.

  The Courtyards consist of four separate rental apartments that were rehabilitated and made available to low-income residents.  The are at 1134 Stanley Ave., 1027 and 1045 Redondo Ave, and 350 E. Esther Street, They comprise 46 units, with 23 reserved for the formerly homeless and special needs persons.
