Long Beach Police Department West Division Commander Josef Levy will be the featured speaker at the 6th District Town Hall, Wednesday, May 25 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ernest McBride Park, 1550 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave.
Levy will discuss ways the community and police department can work more closely together to create a safer environment.
"We are inviting our residents out to discuss ongoing crime in our neighborhoods. We must find a way to work together to weed crime out in order to make our community a safe and peaceful place to live", Councilman Dee Andrews said in a released statement.
This event is free and open to the public.
