Fifth district residents are invited to join Councilwoman Gerrie Schipske at a Community Tree Planting, Saturday, May 21 at 9 a.m. at 7130 Premium St. in the Ranchos area.
Organizers are hoping to install about 15 trees. Volunteers can contact Rachel Powers at 562-570-6932 or Rachel.Powers@longbeach.gov .
Community service hours are available for students.
