Long Beach residents are invited to the Anaheim Street Community Police Center's monthly meeting Tuesday, June 21, 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Mark Twain Library, 1401 E. Anaheim St. in the Community Room. Free parking is available at the library parking lot. Translation will be provided in Khmer and Spanish.
Rick Gonzalez, manager of the Youth Opportunity Center, will talk about the Hire-A-Youth Program and how to get ready for employment or an internship. There will also be information on how to gain accces to employment opportunities and find volunteer opportunities that will provide work experience for your resume.
