The Neighborhood Resource Center will be holding a potluck celebration for two neighborhood groups that won awards in the recent Neighborhoods USA contest in Alaska.
The event will be staged Wednesday, July 13, at 6 p.m. at the NRC officers 425 Atlantic Avenue.
Being feted will be Better Balance for Long Beach, which garnered the grand prize at the national competition. Also recognized witll the Central Neighborhood Advisory Committee (CNAC) and South Wrigley Neighborhood Advisory Group (NAG) which combined.
Also being recognized will be Best Neighborhood Newsletter Award Winners
Willmore City Heritage Association abd North Long Beach Project Area Committee
Those attending can learn about these neighborhood groups' award winning projects and see the award winning presentations these neighborhood groups made to the judging panel.
