Councilman Dee Andrews and city officials will talk about the looming 2012 city budget at Andrews' monthy 6th District Town Hall meeting, Tuesday, August 30 at 6 p.m. at Veterans Park, 101 East 28th Street,
Joining Andrews will be City Manager Pat West and Director of Financial Management Paul Gross. There will be added discussion on public safety.
The city's fiscal year begins Oct. 1 and official project a $20.3 million deficit in the general fund, which plays for so-called core services such as police, firefighters, libraries,parks and sidewalk and steet repairs.
