Domestic violence workshop

  Understanding and dealing with domestic violence will be the topic at the monthly meeting of the Anaheim Street Community Police Center and MacArthur Park/Whittier School Neighborhood Tuesday, August 16 at 5 p.m. at the Mark Twain Library, 1401 Anaheim St.
  Ret. Detective Fred Bloh of the Long Beach Police Department will give a presentation about the issue. The workshop will teach you how to get help and learn about resources. Issues covered will include how to file a crime report or a restraining order and victim rights.
  Translation will be provided in Khmer and Spanish.
